Can't decide on bridesmaids colour.?

OMG I got married in May.. My wedding dress was also a light gold and my bridesmaids wore Wine which is like a deep purple-ish red... kinda like burgundy. Since I had a spring wedding and those are fall colors I played up Spring in the flowers and got so many complements... The colors popped and looked so beautiful together.
