Would quitting my fraternity hurt me in any ways?

If there's a chapter of that fraternity at the school you want to transfer to, then they may hear about you and your involvement in the chapter at the school you're at now. But I wouldn't worry about it too much - a new school is a fresh chance at making a new start.
