Where is the valve cover on a vw pat?

i have just posted a question and somebody answered ,This is the question:-(my car is not doing very well, i was puting oil inside it when the cover for the oil drop inside the engine, i dont know what to do now) Some body said i should look for the valve cover.Where is this found
